You guys totally made my day. Totally =) Obviously. The best friends I could ever have!!
To my "4eva lover/deer"Charmion(i)e, my never-failing-to-comfort Emily, my "really really really really really really really really good fwen" Naim, my last-year-best-guy-friend Alan, my never-failing-to-comfort-emily's-boyfriend Koong Jye (who has been a great friend too), my ever-generous William, and my very-fun-and-entertaining-joker Khye An, thank you so, so, so, SO, much for making my day so, so, so, SO special!
Lets rewind.
After piano lessons (which didn't go too well as theory = work+scolding, not a very nice combo) my dad picked me up and we headed back home. Stopped by downtown east to buy my brother lunch, which strangely consisted of only cheese fries, bought from, strangely, downtown east (when we were at Parkway). So anyway, headed there. Then my dad gave my mum a call.
Dad: Uh, we're buying Justin lunch from KFC then we're coming in. Ya. Bye.
Me: Huh? Mum's downtown?
Dad: No. Do you want to come with me or wait here?
Me: Mmm. I think I'll wait here la.
Dad: I think you'd better come help me buy the fries for corcor (i love to spell it that way so don't laugh, it has its significance) while I buy lunch for Mum.
Me: Oh ok. -hops out of the car-
-strolls downtown while talking about Tamiya Cars-
-walks past reception-
Very high-pitched, soft, but Charmainy voice: Happy Birthday Marianne! (ok, so I only heard MARIANNE cos I don't really go eavesdropping but obviously I'd recognise my name)
-turns and stares blankly at source- (didn't even see them, was looking PAST them)
-spots Charmaine smiling retardedly-
-spots Emily smiling retardedly-
-spots a few others behind smiling nervously-
-spots Mum grinning with satisfaction-
Very high-pitched, loud and Charmainy voice, aka Charmaine: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIANNE!!
Man alive, was I shocked! Huh? Huh? Who are they? -to think I thought of that- How come they know I'm here? How come Mum's here? How come ALL of them are here? Where's Dad? Huh? Confusion Kia ok. So I finally realised they'd planned a surprise. And MAN ALIVE WAS I SURPRISED!! Really happy to see people like Khye An and Naim there, usually they didn't go out with us. WOOOO!! =)
Took some shots with me smiling like, weirdly (BUT nicely, for that matter =P) Was really grinning like an idiot. Had a tiny cake which we TRIED to cut into 8, ended up a mess X) but it tasted good, delivered with love.
So we went to ESCAPE, not literally, but I mean the theme park, you know. (no wonder my Mum asked if I had homework.. mischief sia =P) WOO HOO!! Really, totally ROCKED MY SOCKS.
Went on Pepsi first, woo! Love it. Then again. Woo again! Love it again! Maine and I were screaming like freaks. Lets see.
Me: 1 2 3 we scream 'Mummy!' k!
Maine: OK!
Me: 1.. 2.. 3..
Unison: MUMMY!!!!!!!!!!
Maine: 1 2 3 'Daddy!' ok! 1.. 2.. 3..
Unison: DADDY!!!!!!!!!!
-spots lush green trees-
Me: -bursts out laughing- 1 2 3 we shout 'LEAF!' ok!
Unison: LEAF!!!!!!! (oh man, I'm telling you, this is KUNG POW-ISH)
But anyway, had a great time screaming out throats sore.
Cadbury inverter was funny la. While we were waiting, the railings were shaking like there was an earthquake or something, and occasionally when the thing went upside down, droplets of.. things, came falling from people.. -___- Hopefully it wasn't saliva. Or vomit, for that matter.
Went on it, totally rocked. Saw a whole pool of water down under. Didn't really look slimy or whatever so... =P
Went on Panasonic, which totally rocked. Took the front with Khye An, who took the left. Dang. Should've taken that seat, SUPER TERROR!! Remember taking that seat before, kept feeling I'd fall off any moment. Now THAT, my friends, is ADRENALINE. Shiok! Kept flying off my seat sia. Panasonic Rocks.
Then went on what, wet and wild, wild and wet, whatever la hor. Super fun. Screamed while going up -_- Funny =P Made all kinds of retarded faces and because we weren't wet enough, we = maine, me and emily, splashed each other. Like SIAO. So came out, soaked right through. Guys watching us from above were laughing. Haha. We were shouting '2e1 ROCKS' on the way down la. How patriotic =P
GO CARTS. -SENSES GROWING ADDICTION- -SCREAMS HEAD OFF- -BANGS KEYBOARD- SGDNVAW;VP WIY yeah, you get the point. IT ROCKS!!! I was kinda nervous at first, since I'd never driven one and I was the first to leave. But man alive, you know, especially for people who are natural drivers -COUGH- they get the hang of it once they step on the pedal? Yeah yeah, so there I was, speeding away. Swerved a lot due to my very very PROFESSIONAL SKILL and lack of brakes, for that matter =P But I loved swerving, that's what made it fun. Apparently Emily caused a major traffic congestion behind by driving like she was drunk. Haha. No wonder I didn't see anyone behind me.. -ponders- or was I just too fast? haha. But Alan caught up. Woo!! =D GO CARTS RULE!!!
So played a lil more before I had to leave for dinner with my relatives. Went to spagheddies at the Paragon CAN = shiokness kia!! Had an awesome meal. Some Italian cake for dessert, which was like a chocolate cake with hot, chocolate fudge oozing... SHIOK!!!!! Heavenly. And dessert (and water) was on the house =) Birthday girl kia right.
Hehe. To think I thought my birthday really was gonna be a non-event. YOU GUYS MADE IT SPECIAL!!!!! THANKS SO SOOO SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!
