Your grace is enough
I love this week. So many things have happened =D So I'm happy. Yes, yes I am.
Rewind to Friday (Since that's the time I remember something actually happening)
SMO Training was fun. Maybe it was the first time I stayed in class and spent time with my classmates.
Horrid realisation #1 - my class guys are horny maniacs. I pray I don't kena influenced.
Horrid realisation #2 - there is no other horrid realisation.
So yeah, kinda fun spending time with them. Sat between Clara and Jollyn, with Er Hao, Kin Chung and Wei Neng behind us. Khye An came late, as usual. Super funny with Kin Chung making funny sounds and Wei Neng giving silly expressions and such. Fun =)
Went for the China Children's Choir (CCC) Concert (why, CCCC!) in the evening. Chionged with Jollyn around the school for 15 minutes before settling for the new block showers. Took turns and ended up late. Kind Ellis bought us Double Cheese burgers from Macs so that was fine =P And for a small kia, Jollyn takes ages to bathe =P I just take ages to change. Haha. Not funny.
Anyway, the concert was really good. I mean, the standard was so high. Their singing is so much better than ours; got so much to learn. Yet when I asked one of the juniors how it was she shrugged and gave me the 'super-boringified' face. Oh well.
And the A1s did horribly on Thursday. -exasperated mania- my fault.
FF a lil to Saturday
Woke up at 7am to do Theory. In the end it was crap. A lot of it was wrong. Oops kia la! Bla bla bla, went for auditions. In the end I auditioned for both drama and choir since Evan kia was auditioning for drama. I guess I did fine for the drama audition which was first, but Grace really impressed me. Impressed all of us. Intimidated mania.
Choir audition went well I think. Judge said she was amused. Cos I put my range as 'A1' and I hit a high A, according to Shaun kia. Hopefully that's good. Kinda freaked out when I had to sing my own song. I now regret putting 'For All You've Done' as my song choice. I sang it in my own range and she asked me to sing higher. So the very-kind-shaun-kia gave me a super high chord. I almost died. Voice was trembling like nobody's business mania la can.
After that went for dinner with Bryan and Marianne Lee. And my bro of course. I tell you ah, these two and crappists la. So after Marianne and I got our fair share of 'Marianne!' and both of us turning, we called them 'Wen Jie'. Since both of them have the same Chinese name. Tell me about coincidence. And now their sister is my god-sister. Cool la.
Couldn't stop laughing at all the crap. Bryan let me listen to 'Alien Youth' singing 'Kill me, Heal me'. Christian Rock. Indeed. Retarded.
Had seafood dinner. Over ordered la. Dishes were huge. And Marilyn was so cute, she came in all the stuff my Dad bought her from South Africa. Haha. And once we stepped into the Lee's car, Jadon was holding the handphone in his hand and bouncing about like some crazy maniac giggling like siao. Listening to ringtone mania can. He listened to that til we got to the restaurant. Nice.
Well after the very filling dinner, we went to Swensens. Yes, we did. I'm gonna be crazily fat. Oh heck. Indulge for a night la. Anyway, Dad, Mum, Just and I took a pic with Marilyn. Then we were about to do the 'retard face'. The one my bro and I usually do. Just that my parents joined in =P Tell us about originality. Just as Bryan clicked the button, "Battery Flat". Sweet. Crapped a lot more.
Marianne Lee makes me laugh til my chest hurts. Cos we were trying to laugh and suddenly cut off. Then looking at the retarded expressions on one another's faces, burst out laughing again. Could go on forever man. The sudden pang of pain in my chest gave me a shock. Phew. "Embarrass"
Anyway, instead of using pai sei, start using 'embarrass' and you'll realise how retarded it sounds. -grins-
BS today was great. Daryl and Marianne led so it was really much more interesting. The sermon was great, too. Learnt a lot today. Including the fact that smiling is an act of kindness. Hoolay! So please, don't ask me not to smile. Cos when I do stop smiling, you'll probably regret it. Ok, I'm looking forward to school tomorrow.
I'm starting to love school. And 3E1.
