POST-ODYSSEY MADNESS
I'M HIGH I'M HIGH I'M HIGH AHHHHHH! And I'm currently missing so many people from the camp, namely my dear cute boy NICHOLAS! My new bimbo friend YINHONG! My super retarded himbo ZHI KAI! My very cheeky RUTH, XUE YING, JUE YING, ADELINE AND LYDIA! My "love rival" CHERYL! My deer pigz GLENN! And of course, my ultra bimbofied bimbo king BEN!
Anyway, lets start from the top! =)
Day One
Bla bla, Ben and I shoot a bimbo video, replica-ing a part from Bring it On - All or Nothing. Had Station Games which I hope was a bash! =) The groups seemed really energised and stuff, so I guess everyone had fun! Cheering and all that. Then I fell off my bike. Zzz... I was fine answering the many calls with one hand and controlling my bike with the other, so when Jon Ma called I did the same. Then he said Nic had an asthma attack so I tried to brake cos I was approaching a slope rather quickly. Stupid la actually, lost control of the bike. Big surprise there =P Anyway, got a really deep like, hole, in my arm. Blood gushed out like nobody's business. Thanks to dear Warren for being my medic! =D But anyway. The mass game was quite ok I guess, though they had to tahan the sun for quite a while, oops. haha.
Had Makan at the Crossroads that night. It was fun I must say, travelling around with the groups and all. I was with Judah initially, but I decided I needed to help as many groups as I could so I went over to Asher soon enough but led them to the wrong place -_- Zzz... it was fun, they were all really enthu and funny! The weirdest part was when 2/3 groups met la, poor comm members get pulled to pieces! But it was fun all the same :) All the retarded tasks. TSk! Slept at 4.45am that day after tallying all the scores. A big thank you to Ben and Desire-e who stayed up with me! =)
Day Two
Got up at 7.15am to go to school. Roy was such a darling and gave me a lift to school on his bike! AHHHHHH! I tell you, that compelled me to get out of bed =P You know, Sembawang to Pasir Ris is so far. So it was one hell of an awesome ride! xD And it's damn cool la, we overtook more than 100 cars on the fast lane by squeezing through. Shiok only! :) And I was quite touched cos he too was exhausted but he woke up early to give me a lift to school.
Anyway, I was zombified during choir. Thank goodness I was standing behind during sectionals, if not I think Tracy would've been diaoded. I was trying my best to keep awake ok... Left earlier to head to Kallang for dragonboating. Ended up I was there really early, so just stoned and enjoyed the "view". Didn't dragonboat but did lots of other nonsense. We did lots of praying too but that definitely wasn't nonsense la :)
Had CSI at night, was a little sad cos we had to skip the talk by Master OuCH. But the worship session really touched me and I was moved to tears la. Truly, and with all sincerity, God is the best. :) Nyway Cheryl spent more than an hour curling my hair, then we were doing make up and what not. Apparently we both acted so well that we actually scared them. Ok, I wasn't supposed to be scary la I was supposed to be depressed, but they thought I was psycho. But depression leads to psychoness right. Was pretty tired after acting depressed so I started slacking, oops. Anyway the groups were making me laugh so what can I say. Especially when Dan quoted LAMMIE. THE RUBBISH PERSON. HAHA. Had to keep my laughter in la. Tsk.
Day Three
Headed to Sentosa bright and early. for Missing in Sentosa! But I felt like crap on the van cos I needed the toilet so badly, as in, really really really badly. And I had to tahan for 20 minutes. It was excruciating ok.
Had to sit at the table for about 3 hours and my briefing for the groups took only about 3 minutes altogether. Diao. Haha. Read a book and kept dozing off la. Pai sei. But anyway. It was weird cos we had about 6976063150298 casualties that day =X But I guess it was cos everyone was pretty tired and immunity level was pretty low eh. But everyone had fun all the same :) Headed back to the campsite and had lunch and Proj Runway preparation etc.
And compulsory rest.
Omega Night. Everything boiled down to Omega Night, all the activites, all the planning. Omega is "last", btw. I really was nervous before we started, and I kept praying. But in the end, it all went smoothly and I think the youths really and truly worshipped :) The talk was hilarious la, Chee Hong cracked us up with his nonsense! Ah, I miss him too. hahaha. Anyway, had some testimony sharing and was quite encouraged by some of them, especially by Jon Ma's. Somehow. And I was encouraged that Melvin went up to share his testimony too :)
Then we had a prayer thing, an altar call. And it was just overwhelming as I thought of how Jesus gave his life for me although I'm not worth it. Like how my life will always be worth living because someone died for me. And how God gives us what we don't deserve, and doesn't give us what we deserve. And how I gave Him so little, so much less than what I can actually offer up to Him. How I leave my Bible reading to the end of the day when I'm all weary, how I sometimes fall asleep while praying. How I don't commit all to Him although I do try to, how I hold things in my own hands rather than hold His hands and let him take control. And I was just so overwhelmed by His grace and love.
I rededicated my life to Him. I really want Him to be in control, to be the leader and the guide. So while I was sobbing, me and the other comm members were told to go be with the other youths. I was moved by Lisen who was moved by the Holy Spirit. And he was just sobbing so badly, touched.
I guess the part that really made me cry tears of joy was when Ps LKY made the call for nonchristians who would like to give their lives to God. I turned and looked around, and saw about 3/4 of the newcomers standing. I was just so overcome with joy that I broke down again. It's amazing how God works, how He can use a simple camp like that to touch people. Really moving. Continued to worship God and praise His name :)
Soon enough it was time to jam. And everyone was so high cos we were all happy =D and I thought the stage was gonna collapse cos so many people were jumping! Everyone was just dancing and singing and jumping, a really awesome sight :) Since I was keyboarding cannot jump right, so go offstage after the jamming then jump. HA! I was so happy I just went hugging everyone la. Ok, I went hugging whoever was in close proximity. Haha. And everyone hugged me back, mainly because everyone was happy! =D
Had movie night, watched Narnia. I watched for a while then just slept on the table. Haha. Then played cards for a bit and turned in at around 4+am.
Day Four
Screened the "Touching Video" which captured some of the wonderful moments. Watched some nonsense videos including that of me and Ben. Lol. It was really funny and fun la. Took camp photos, re-enacted what really happened for CSI and heard some of the Camp Marshals say their parting words. Celebrated Ps LKY's birthday too :)
Anyway, got a photo with my dear WASSUP! boy. I'm really missing him a lot. Ahhhh and I just realised I can't pick him up next Saturday cos I won't even be in Singapore =X Cam whored a little before going out for lunch. Headed to Macs with quite a lot of them and Duane made us laugh like siao. Unintentionally. Des, Yinhong, Justin and I laughed till we cried. I haven't laughed so hard in so long ok, I tell you.
We were talking about the wound on my arm, when suddenly...
Duane: Do you eat your scap?
Everyone: -LOLs- (for half a minute)
Marianne: What is scap?
Everyone: -LOLs- (for another half a minute)
Yinhong: You eat your scap?
Duane: Last time la
Everyone: -LOLs- (for another half a minute)
Yinhong: For what???
Duane: I don't know leh got protein ma.
Everyone: -LOLs-
Duane: It tastes quite nice.
Oh gosh. Hahahahahahahahahahaha siao liao la. Siao liao. Hilarious! Anyway, Zhi Kai and I went to compliment this lady for having an awesome work attitude. We work it down on a feedback form la, hopefully they'll commend her :)
