I just read somebody's blog, and I realised how much more I should treasure the people I love. I'm always taking the people around me for granted, those who love me so much, and those whom I love too. Taking their presence for granted. Yet so many don't even have their loved ones with them, no matter how much they yearn for it. My heart is aching now.
Yet at the same time, from the very same person's blog, I've realised how much hope there is in Christ. How a person can turn 180 degrees, from feeling hopeless, to being hopeful. It's simply amazing.
Our God is an awesome God. :)
Went shopping in the city with Shermine, Jocelyn and Amanda today. Ate at Swensens. It was nice crapping with them again la :) Although it's a waste Jollyn and Rachelle, and of cos Jess and Clara weren't there too. We conferenced last night and Jess was sick and sounded really tired =( Take care girl! And didn't even get to talk to Clara zzz. Haha. Oh well...
Cut my hair. Finally. It's soooooo much shorter now. Save shampoo =P Good. Haha.
Ah well. I'm lagging on my study plan. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Better chiong harder. Lol.

Aloha! Apologies for the break... Been extremely busy, as usual...
Relatively exciting events in the month thus far (since the last post was early May)
1. SYF Recording
Extremely tiring, but really cool la. Went to a recording studio :) Have I blogged about this? I seem to have blogged about this... Ah well. It was enjoyable, though at times it was a waste of time. But on the whole, it was a really cool experience :)
(I am trying to remember what has happened....)
2. VoyAJe 2008
AJC's choir concert. MJC guest choir. I was really happy to be performing again. Been about a year already, since the SYF, which was the last time I performed. And to make things better, it was at the Esplanade! I tell you, the backstage is crazy. Andre and Xioa Hui went in to find our changing rooms first and said I'd get lost.
So I was just picturing a maze-like, single-leveled backstage, something like that at VCH. Piang, I got such a pleasant surprise to discover it's like another building on its own. It's REALLY HUGE. One reason is because it's a combined backstage la. (Not that you're interested so I shall FF for your benefit)
Practised, watched AJC practise. Met Tianjun again after so long but didn't have time to catch up. Lol. Anyway AJ was really were good. I was kinda shocked, actually. Really impressed by them. I guess their dynamics are so dramatic cos of their big numbers too, so their loud can go really loud. WaterNight was super zai. Wah. Bui tahan. They were great. And MJ sounded pretty good too! Compared to our horrid AVA room which makes us sound hideous. It was cool la, Esplanade. Sakura was really nice when we heard the recording. I love that song man... :)
Chionged to get ready, make up, hair, food, etc. Took a few photos before going to sing. Took 55461329780 photos after our performance. Tau pok here, tau pok there. Attempt to tau pok Mr Foong --> Failed.
(PS: Guys tau pok, girls run away/take videos. Marianne runs away.)
Got some really nice photos :) I think we camwhored for about an hour before cheering the MJ Medley HAHAHA. As though it's our concert. Ah well. :)
Went out to meet those who came, from church, Glenn :) Kim, Duane, Mel and Clifford. Really sorry to Kim and Duane, whom I didn't really talk to much. Thanks for coming though, guys :) I'm really touched that you came even though it's just a guest-performance! :)
And from Hai Sing, my dearest loanshark/type-in-caps-friend Jing Ming! :) Ah-bu-gu Ellis (who was as gay as ever, trying to hit on Glenn tsk tsk tsk), Daryl Bongadong who hasn't put on any weight at all, and the juniors Priscilla, Wann, Liangying, Maeve, Regina, Jomaine, Mingle, Ryan Leo, Jingjie and Pinyi. I hope I didn't miss out anybody! Thanks for coming too! :) Was really nice seeing all of you again :) Will meet you again at WE concert :)
Ah well, I shall post up some of the concert photos when I get more, currently I've got barely any. Haha. Okay, till next time...

HELLO! Okay. I'm rushing a post to give all ye loyal readers who are currently reading nothing about my life something to read...
Sorry man. I've been seriously busy. This week's gonna be even worse :( But it's okay. I think it'll be all right except for the fact that I'll be dead tired by the end of the week. Lol. Ah.
Wednesday's SYF Recording day. Gonna miss half of the day's lessons. I think I'll miss lectures. Oh no :( Tuesday's Chem SPA. Thursday's Physics SPA and Maths CT. All the best to me. Gotta rely on God and not myself!
What Roy said is right. Physical fatigue does lead to spiritual fatigue. Very very dangerous... I think I'm gonna be doing QT in the mornings. At night I just fall asleep or rush through cos I have 101 things to do.
And I just realised my emoticons are popular! Hahaha Josiah added me on MSN so I said hi and used the =) Smiley. And immediately he used it so I thought he ripped it so fast but apparently he already had it! Lol. I'm proud of my super-cute-original emoticons! =P
Had dinner at civil defence with the whole family just now and saw Glenn and his family there too. Haha. Seems Sar Tun and Sar Ee know Uncle Chin Ming and Aunty Shaw Mui, who was Nathan's teacher in GMPSS lol. Amusing...
R4TW yesterday was cool! The weather was really nice :) Jon, Justin, Daryl, Glenn and I were the only younger people. Unless you include Josiah, whose cheeks I long to pinch. Hahaha. So those 3 SAF boys ran while Glenn and I walked. The youths always walk. Emerlyn and SY pang sehed. Lol. Just talked and did all kinds of silly things (which actually he did really well but I looked like an idiot when I did lol) like the running sideways thingy. I can't help but fall over when I do it. Lol. but it was really nice walking with him la :) We were walking fast btw. And then running for about 500m hahahaha. Okay maybe a little more than that. Major improvement from last year's 100m with the rest of the kias which wasn't even 100m cos the sole of SY's shoe came off while we were running and we had to stop to laugh.
Okay! I shall go study some Maths and do QT and sleep :) I love the apple I'm eating.
And I'm glad we're really really starting afresh. Let's make it work! :)
