Aloha! Apologies for the break... Been extremely busy, as usual...
Relatively exciting events in the month thus far (since the last post was early May)
1. SYF Recording
Extremely tiring, but really cool la. Went to a recording studio :) Have I blogged about this? I seem to have blogged about this... Ah well. It was enjoyable, though at times it was a waste of time. But on the whole, it was a really cool experience :)
(I am trying to remember what has happened....)
2. VoyAJe 2008
AJC's choir concert. MJC guest choir. I was really happy to be performing again. Been about a year already, since the SYF, which was the last time I performed. And to make things better, it was at the Esplanade! I tell you, the backstage is crazy. Andre and Xioa Hui went in to find our changing rooms first and said I'd get lost.
So I was just picturing a maze-like, single-leveled backstage, something like that at VCH. Piang, I got such a pleasant surprise to discover it's like another building on its own. It's REALLY HUGE. One reason is because it's a combined backstage la. (Not that you're interested so I shall FF for your benefit)
Practised, watched AJC practise. Met Tianjun again after so long but didn't have time to catch up. Lol. Anyway AJ was really were good. I was kinda shocked, actually. Really impressed by them. I guess their dynamics are so dramatic cos of their big numbers too, so their loud can go really loud. WaterNight was super zai. Wah. Bui tahan. They were great. And MJ sounded pretty good too! Compared to our horrid AVA room which makes us sound hideous. It was cool la, Esplanade. Sakura was really nice when we heard the recording. I love that song man... :)
Chionged to get ready, make up, hair, food, etc. Took a few photos before going to sing. Took 55461329780 photos after our performance. Tau pok here, tau pok there. Attempt to tau pok Mr Foong --> Failed.

Got some really nice photos :) I think we camwhored for about an hour before cheering the MJ Medley HAHAHA. As though it's our concert. Ah well. :)
Went out to meet those who came, from church, Glenn :) Kim, Duane, Mel and Clifford. Really sorry to Kim and Duane, whom I didn't really talk to much. Thanks for coming though, guys :) I'm really touched that you came even though it's just a guest-performance! :)
And from Hai Sing, my dearest loanshark/type-in-caps-friend Jing Ming! :) Ah-bu-gu Ellis (who was as gay as ever, trying to hit on Glenn tsk tsk tsk), Daryl Bongadong who hasn't put on any weight at all, and the juniors Priscilla, Wann, Liangying, Maeve, Regina, Jomaine, Mingle, Ryan Leo, Jingjie and Pinyi. I hope I didn't miss out anybody! Thanks for coming too! :) Was really nice seeing all of you again :) Will meet you again at WE concert :)
Ah well, I shall post up some of the concert photos when I get more, currently I've got barely any. Haha. Okay, till next time...
